Acts 29 Assessment

Ok guys, it’s official.

We’re applying to be a part of the Acts 29 Network.  I just got their Application materials today.  No exaggeration – this stuff is more intense than any college/job application I’ve ever seen.  I will need to work on this every day to get it done in time for the August 19th deadline.

The next Acts 29 Boot Camp will be September 19-21 in Raleigh, NC.  Shainu and I are planning to attend this one and go through assessment.  If any of you are free/able it would be awesome to be at this together.

Church planting…it’s getting more real everyday!

Hey, Shainu reminded me that there will be another Acts 29 Bootcamp in April-May of next year. It will be at Redeemer Church and teaming up with Tim Keller.

All of us should definitely plan to be at that one. So mark that on your calendar already. You can find more details here:

Quick update. Since Shainu’s got hyperemesis and probably shouldn’t fly out to NC, and since we’ve already been to an Acts 29 Bootcamp, they’re letting us do our assessment locally. That means that once we submit all our materials, they will try and set up an assessment with some of the A29 pastors in Philly. So that works out great.

Still though, we should all plan on getting out to the NY one in April 08. We’ll love it.
