Praying to the Father, through the Son, in the Spirit

On Sunday, we preached Lord, Teach Us To Pray To The Triune God. Here are some questions for you and your SoulCare Community to consider as you seek to live the preached Word.

  1. What do you suppose God is doing as you pray?
  2. How is it an encouragement to you to know that God is actively involved in helping you to pray (Rom 8:26-27)?
  3. Give some Biblical examples of where we see the Triune God at work and the role that each Person (Father, Son, Spirit) plays (ex: creation, incarnation, redemption, etc).
  4. How does the Father, the Son, and the Spirit help us in prayer? Why is each Person of the Trinity essential in your prayer life?
  5. How has your love grown for each Member of the Trinity this week?
