Seven Mile Road, you don’t get weekends much better than the one that, Lord willing, we’re about to experience.
On Thursday, we kick off our first ever Kids Camp. We have nearly 70 kids registered, half coming from Seven Mile Road and half coming from friends in the area. Pastor Binu and a dream-team of volunteers have been working non-stop to serve our children and their families well. There will be singing, rapping, skits, snacks, crafts, classes and more to make what we hope will be an unforgettable experience. Our hope is that all of this effort will translate into gospel seeds that are sown into the hearts of our little ones.
Then on Sunday, we celebrate the last day of Kids Camp and baptisms! For us, Baptism Sunday is like Super Bowl Sunday. It doesn’t get much bigger or better than this. We have six folks getting baptized this year. You’ll hear six stories of the Father adopting rebels in love as sons and daughters, drawing them to Himself through the Spirit, and rejoicing over them through the work of His Son. What a gracious and glorious God we have! We’ll gather as we normally do for service and then head over to Neshaminy State Park for baptisms and lunch for all. The weather is supposed to be great. Invite a friend. Pray for the day. And plan to join us. See you Sunday!
