Classes & Grades

Children’s ministry at Seven Mile Road is available for newborns through 6th graders during Sunday mornings.

Curriculum

Our Elementary aged classes use the Gospel Story Curriculum, while our Preschool ministry uses the Gospel Project. Both of these curricula are designed to help our children understand the centrality of Christ throughout the Bible.

Volunteer

Nursery and Sunday School at Seven Mile Road are staffed by trained volunteers from our church, who serve on a rotating basis. Your child’s safety is a priority for us. Please review our Child Protection Policy to better understand what is expected of all Children’s Ministry staff and volunteers in creating and maintaining such an environment. Every volunteer is required to undergo all PA clearances prior to serving.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for the Children’s Ministry, please contact our Children’s Ministry Coordinator, Jenn Cherry.

Nursery – 2nd Grade

Our children join us for the first half of service and then can attend either nursery or Sunday School during preaching and communion. Families are also welcome to keep their children with them during the entirety of the service.

3rd – 6th Grade

The 3rd grade and older classes meet from 10:30 – 11:15 (in-between 1st and 2nd service). Children in these age groups will also join us during our worship service.

Youth

Seven Mile Road’s Youth Group is a place where students can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community, and explore and own their faith. Our hope is to partner with parents in helping students go deeper with each other, their leaders and, most importantly, God.

We gather for Youth Group every other week. During these gatherings, your student will have the opportunity to engage in Bible study, receive mentorship, enjoy fun games, and discover and utilize their gifts for the glory of God.

Get connected to our Youth Group by emailing our Youth Ministry Coordinator, Joe Thottukadavil.
