This Sunday starts a new month and a new sermon series we’re calling: Shadows. The series will take us through several stories of figures in the Old Testament. Before we jump into the Old Testament, we’ll revisit a familiar story to us in the New Testament. In fact, it’s the story of where we get the name Seven Mile Road from in Luke 24. As we retell this story that took place on the Seven Mile Road, we’ll begin to see how beautifully interwoven the OT and NT are with each other. In this story, Jesus himself gives us a picture of what the whole of Scriptures are actually leading up to – and it’s glorious.
