Seven Mile Road Members,
Recently, some of our leaders (elders, deacon, worship leader, and administrative assistant) went away for a day of prayer and planning. The majority of our time was spent seeking the Lord about what He has next for Seven Mile Road Church.
We began our time by praying through sections of the book of Acts. We let the Scriptures direct and shape our prayers asking God to move in our cities and our churches now even as He did among the cities and churches then. The next morning we each spent time on our own in Word and prayer. We came back together to share what we sensed the Spirit had shown us individually. All of this prepared the ground for a fruitful conversation about church planting. We were of one heart and one mind as we talked about howGod may be positioning us to be a catalyst for planting other churches like Seven Mile Road.
Our hope at this upcoming Members Meeting is to spend a night sharing what the Lord has laid on our hearts, and then talk and pray together as a church family. So join us this Thursday at 7pm. Childcare will be provided. See you then.
