Tomorrow afternoon, six Women of the Word track members are road-tripping to Washington, D.C.; we will be attending the Simeon Trust Workshop on Biblical Exposition led by our own, Colleen McFadden.
Women of the Word track is a year long program that started in September, 2015; it exists to train women to teach women God’s word. This is based on what Bible teaches in Titus 2, that older women are to teach what is good to younger women, so that the word of God may not be reviled.
Our hope is that, the next 3 days in DC will help us to learn how to communicate the Holy Bible!
Please pray for us in these ways:
1. for traveling mercies
2. that our time together will be a rich time of friendship and fun
3. that we would be refreshed in our personal walk with Christ, and that we would be so renewed in our affections for God that it would be a delight to bless other women in our church with what we have learned
