This week, we took a week off from preaching Exodusto celebrate Easter. We preached on the Resurrection and it’s effect on the penalty, power, and presence of sin. Here are some questions for you and/or your SoulCare Community to consider in applying the preaching.
1. How does the resurrection relate to our justification (Rom. 4:25)?
2. How does the resurrection relate to our sanctification (Eph. 1:19-23)?
3. How does the resurrection relate to our glorification (1 Cor. 15)?
4. Because Jesus rose from the dead, the penalty of sin has been removed, the power of sin is being removed, and the penalty of sin will be removed. How does that affect you? What about that makes you rejoice? What about that is hard for you to believe?
