We’ll be singing a new song this week that expresses the marvelous, sacrificial love of Christ in coming down for us from heaven. As we preach this Sunday on the implications of how the resurrection affects how we see this life and the decisions we make, may we see the sinless perfect Savior hung on the cross for our sake. Despite the immense trials that he faced, even unto death, Jesus pursued us. Because for Jesus, there was more at stake than just a short, temporal life on earth. Join us this Sunday as we consider what this means for us.
Looking forward to singing with you! Video and lyrics of the song are below.

YOU BLED
You bled your heart out
Now I feel love beat in my chest
How wonderful
You gave your beauty
In exchange for my ugliness
How wonderful
You left your perfection
And embraced our rejection
How marvellous, how boundless
Is Your love, is Your love
How wonderful, sacrificial
Is Your love for me
You put on our chains
Sent us out through the open door
How wonderful
You took our sadness
Crowned us with joy and real peace
How wonderful
You left Your perfection
And fought for our redemption
Yes Jesus loves me
Yes Jesus loves me
How wonderful
Yes Jesus loves me
This is love
You gave Yourself
