As we continue The Gospel According to Exodus, this week we preached Lord, Please Send Someone Elsefrom Exodus 3-4. Here are some questions for you and/or your SoulCare Community to consider in applying the text.
1. How can you relate with Moses in Exodus 3-4? If you could be as honest as Moses was in the text, what would your objections to mission be?
2. Behind these objections lies unbelief. If we are not on mission, it is not because we need to “do more,” it is because we are failing to believe something about God. What truths about God do you need to believe that would overcome your objections?
3. How can the gospel help you see mission not only as a holy obligation but a demonstration of God’s mercy and grace to you? (Read a quote from Spurgeon to help you think about this more)
4. What else stands out to you from Exodus 3-4? How is the Spirit speaking to you from this passage?
