In October, the Northeast GCM (gospel community on mission) got together to discuss the bittersweet need for multiplication. We have grown to over 30 adults and just as many kids. For a host of reasons (articulated well by Pastor Binu here), we felt it was time. So for the last three months, we have been preparing for this new transition. Come January, one group will become three!

There’s a lot of health behind this shift. For one, we have really solid leaders ready to take the helm of these new groups. For another, even since we started talking about it in October, our GCM has grown numerically confirming that this is the right next step for us. Plus it gives us a fresh opportunity to evaluate how we are doing when it comes to living as missionaries (something we’ve struggled with) and prayerfully make necessary changes.

Though transitions are never easy, as a whole, we’re ready. Below are some pictures from our last few days together as a single GCM before we multiply next month.
