Last week, we considered Romans 1:18-32, taking an opportunity to consider what the Scriptures say about homosexuality. While the common portrayal of Christians regarding homosexuality in our day is one that is bigoted and unkind, our hope has been to follow Christ’s example, preaching with both grace and truth, without condemnation or compromise. This week we’re back in 1 Timothy 2:8-10. Paul highlights some of the specific sins that the men and women of the Ephesian church are tangled up in. The men are fighting and the women are flaunting. For both men and women, the gospel is what changes them – and us!
