Mini-Retreats

“Though the fig tree should not blossom…I will take joy in the God of my salvation.” (Habakkuk 3:17, 18)

Women of the Word presents a series of mini-retreats where women can enjoy fellowship, singing, listening to biblical teaching, small-group discussion, and prayer. These will be open to all and so Seven Mile Road women are welcome to attend as well as invite other women who may benefit and be interested. The teaching will be from the prophetic book of Habakkuk. This timely prophet confronts God with a striking question: “O Lord, how long shall I cry for help?” We will see how we are to respond with loyalty and trust in our ever-present God in a world that sometimes doesn’t make sense. Only faith in our sovereign God will create a truly joy-filled life.

  • 9am-12pm at Seven Mile Road
